OUR STORY
Hello Moss is built around the moments we share, and the objects that live at the centre of them.
Founded and led by Chelsy, Hello Moss began as a desire to create homewares that feel considered, tactile, and quietly expressive. Pieces designed not to follow trends, but to hold space — on tables, in homes, and within everyday rituals.
Hello Moss is proudly Indigenous-owned and operated on Awabakal land, in Newcastle, NSW. The surrounding coastline, textures of place, and respect for land and culture inform the way each collection is approached — with patience, balance, and intention.
Community sits at the heart of the studio. Shared meals, familiar gatherings, and the rhythms of daily life influence both form and function. Each piece is created with the belief that objects can bring people together, becoming part of conversations, traditions, and moments that matter.
Hello Moss is not about filling a space.
It is about creating connection within it.

OUR PRODUCT
Hello Moss pieces are made slowly and intentionally — never mass produced.
Each item is poured and finished in small batches, with wholesale orders made to order to ensure consistency, care, and quality at every stage.
We are deliberate in our material choices. All resin used across our collections is FDA-approved, making it suitable for kitchen and dining use while meeting strict safety and quality standards. Durability and longevity are central to our process, ensuring each piece is designed to be used daily and enjoyed for years to come.
As a handmade studio, variation is part of the language of our work. Subtle shifts in colour, texture, and the occasional micro bubble may occur — quiet markers of an object that has been crafted by hand rather than produced by machine. These details are embraced, making every Hello Moss piece inherently unique.
We release only what meets our standards. Each piece is carefully assessed before leaving the studio, and we stand behind the quality of everything we offer. Hello Moss homewares are made to live well, age beautifully, and hold their place in the rituals of everyday life.

OUR FOOTPRINT
Hello Moss is made with intention — not excess.
We work on Awabakal land in Newcastle, NSW, and acknowledge the ongoing connection of Indigenous communities to land, sea, and culture. Respect for place guides how we make, source, and release our collections.
As a small, independent studio, we prioritise low-volume production. By working in small batches and making wholesale orders to order, we reduce excess, avoid overproduction, and remain intentional about what we create and release into the world.
Materials are chosen thoughtfully, balancing durability, safety, and longevity. Our approach favours pieces designed to be kept, used, and lived with — not replaced. Packaging is kept minimal where possible, and our processes are continually reviewed as the studio grows.
Our footprint is not perfect, but it is considered. We are committed to making conscious choices, staying transparent, and evolving responsibly — with respect for the land we work on and the community we create for.
